So the big ticket feature for me with Neorouter is ->Protect your Internet traffic on public Wi-Fi hotspots.

How do I do that if this great 'Cross-platform' system can't be installed onto an iPhone?

Comments? Thoughts?

Did you double - check the firewall settings on your NR server machine? It requires the listen port to be access from Internet. If you are comfortable with the port-forwarding setting on your router, try to stop firewall and try.

Btw no need to change the ip_forward setting in your linux box.

Does this problem occur in your iPhone?
I also faced this same kind of issue in my iPhone while connecting to the iTunes which was iTunes Error code 590624, fixing which actually solved the issue.
