We're very excited to announce that NeoRouter Pro v2.6.2.5020 for Windows are available for download.

Updates (3/21/2019)

We have just updated the Windows installer of NeoRouter Pro v2.6.2.5020 to install the virtual network driver v1.0.0 by default. The new virtual network driver v1.0.2 will be installed in the sub folder Driver102 on Win8.1+ computers. One can follow the steps below to install it:

tapinstall.exe remove nrtap
tapinstall.exe install nrtap.inf nrtap
tapinstall.exe status nrtap

Then restart the NeoRouter Client Service from services.msc or simply restart computer.

Note: To install the new network driver, Windows may prompt you to verify a Digital Code Signing Signature. Simply say "yes" to confirm it.

What's new

* New Virtual Network Adapter driver (v1.0.2) for Windows (8.1 and above)
1) by default, set Media Status to Always Connected to resolve the issue on Windows 10, that sometimes NR network adapter failed to activate.
2) update network speed to 1Gbps

* Force to use TLSv1.1/1.2 when disabling SSLv3 (DisableSSLv3=1), as TLSv1.0 and lower should be retired since 2018.

* Other bug fixes

What's new

* Force to use TLSv1.1/1.2 when disabling SSLv3 (DisableSSLv3=1), as TLSv1.0 and lower should be retired since 2018.

* Fixed critical bug: when more 300 clients concurrently connected to NR server (on Linux), NR client sign in request may get delayed in some scenarios.

* Other minor bug fixes

* NeoRouter inabox supports the OpenWrt/LEDE 18.06.

* Since OpenWrt merged with LEDE, the arch types got changed. Currently NeoRouter supports the architecture used by the most popular OpenWrt routers recommended on their official website, including:

mips_24kc (was ar71xx)
mipsel_mips32 (was mipsel)
i386_pentium (was x86)

We have just updated NeoRouter Pro v2.6.2.5020a for Raspbian.

Bug fixed:

* Fixed the NR domain name resolving issue on Raspbian. The issue was introduced in NR Pro v2.6.2.5020 and it happens on Raspbian only.

We have tested it on Raspbian Buster.
