Hi Jim,
The virtual network adapter in your post seems like wintap from openvpn, instead of NeoRouter adapter. NeoRouter adapter would be like this:
Ethernet adapter Ethernet 3:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : NeoRouter Virtual Network Interface #2 Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-FF-98-F7-32-6E DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::a05b:28fa:3b02:7317%18(Preferred) IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 10.0.0.8(Preferred) Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.0.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : DHCPv6 IAID . . . . . . . . . . . : 218169240 DHCPv6 Client DUID. . . . . . . . : 00-01-00-01-1E-3C-C0-E9-50-7B-9D-31-B1-48 DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : fec0:0:0:ffff::1%1 fec0:0:0:ffff::2%1 fec0:0:0:ffff::3%1 NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Enabled
Please go to the driver folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\ZebraNetworkSystems\NeoRouter\Driver) and try the following command, see if you get any error code:
tapinstall.exe status nrtap
If nrtap is running, we may need a log file of nrservice to investigate it. Please enable logging, restart NR client service, try to ping a remote computer, then collect the log file and send it to us. We will help you to investigate it.
Btw, can you also try other app over NR , for example RDP or VNC and so on, as sometimes ping echo would be blocked by Windows firewall.
Thanks, KevinZ - NeoRouter team
