Hi.
Have a new Acer CB3-111 Chromebook running Ubuntu Trusty.
NR (nrclient-2.3.1.4360-free-ubuntu-amd64.deb) is installed and when running nrclientcmd and logging in, the server allocates an IP address which appears in the list of computers on-line. When I quit out and do an ifconfig I see nrtap and the virtual IP address that was allocated. If I run ifconfig again the IP has gone although nrtap remains.
Using the web console it does show the chromebook as being on-line with the same IP originally allocated.
The nrserver is up and running and supporting about 20 other machines (thank you).
Any ideas appreciated

Can you check if nrservice is still up and running? If it's running, the VIP should be there.

Thanks for the reply (particularly as it was 25th of December), it is appreciated.
Checking nrservice, it is running. When restarted using "service nrservice.sh restart" followed by "ifconfig", I see the VIP. When I check again VIP has gone and nrservice is running.

Can you provide the log file of nrservice (send it to us) so that we can help you to investigate it? Based on your description, it seems disconnected from server afters sign in.

You can also try to delete the computer from NR Console and re-sign in again. If still not working, have to check the log file.

Have tried (many times) deleting in NR console and also re-installing nrclient. After re-install I get allocated a new VIP however same problem exists.
