I'm looking for any workarounds, scripts, etc. to periodically check if NR is not connected and if so, try to connect. Maybe I'd do this every 3 minutes or something.

Background: I run NR on my Android phone which has data only, no voicemail. Then on top of that, I run CSIPSimple (SIP Client) which connects to an Asterisk server to provide me with my voice service. This works nicely, with the weakness that NR must be connected.

Sometimes NR loses connection and just needs the Connect button to be clicked, but right now I have to manually do this. Some script (or even better) an option in the app to keep retrying would be awesome.

Any ideas?

I like the look of NeoRouter Mesh for my company. Wont put down money for it if this is an issue for everyone. It is on my android phone.

I do not know if this is even possible with android.
but i would also love this feature.
BUT iv personally not had any persistence problems with my android. connection drops if i go somewhere with no signal or i restart the phone. other than that im always connected.
